Fiancee and distant memories

Fiancee

La Llave Espada Prometida (Oathkeeper, en inglés) hace su aparición en Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, y Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.

She also appears with Roxas along with Distant Memories, this once Roxas absorbed Xion. Fundamentally, Fiancee is a symbol of the promise between Sora and Kairi.

Design

The shaft of Fiancee is shown by two hearts, and the handle has two angel wings, contrasting the bat wings that make up Handle Distant Memories. The teeth are formed in the form of the kanji for "light" (光), corresponding to the Distant Memories kanji for "dark". Her symbol is Kairi's Wayfinder keychain, a star sewn from Thalassa shells. In the Castle of Oblivion, Naminé replaces her memories along with the amulet until the illusion is shattered. When summoned by the user, Fiancee emerges in a bright, light yellowish-white light.

The name of this Keyblade may come from the promise made to Kairi by Sora after she gives him her lucky charm and that Sora agrees to return it to her at the end of the game. The Japanese name for the Keyblade may refer to lucky charms, as well as the promise made after Kairi gives her charm to Sora.

Distant memories

Distant Memories is a Keyblade that appears in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts II, and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. The keychain is like the crown on Sora's necklace, only in black.

Design

Distant Memories has a shape similar to Chain of the Realm, although it is black in color and has a longer range. The forearm is composed of two bat wings that extend downward. The teeth are in the form of the kanji for "dark" (暗). The symbol on the keychain is a black version of Sora's crown necklace. A chain design runs across the entire blade. The diamond on its hilt also resembles that of the diamonds in the original Hollow Bastion logo. When Distant Memories are summoned in Kingdom Hearts II, he is surrounded by black smoke and purple sparks.

The English name of Distant Memories (Oblivion) means a "state of forgetfulness or having forgotten", and its Japanese name has the same basic meaning. Oblivion is often associated with the memories that have passed (hence the Spanish name), for example, when Sora reaches the top floors of the Castle of Oblivion, or when Roxas begins to forget Xion after its destruction.

Carrier

Roxas

Roxas, the Key of Destiny (め ぐ り あ う 鍵 Meguriau Kagi ?, lit. "Serendipitous Key"), is Sora's Nobody and was number XIII within Organization XIII. It was born when Sora sacrificed his own heart in order to reestablish Kairi's in Hollow Bastion. Although Sora's heart was reset shortly after, Roxas continued to live, oblivious to Sora's existence for most of his life. He has the ability to wield the Keyblade and uses the power of light to defeat his enemies. Roxas is the one who controls the Samurai Nobodies.

Roxas was also one of the mysterious hooded figures in the video Another side, Another story ... and Deep Dive. In the beginning of Kingdom Hearts II, the player controls Roxas for a short time until Sora awakens. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Roxas is the main protagonist.
