Double Sword (シンクロブレード Shinkuro Burēdo?) Is an ability that appears in Kingdom Hearts II. Allows you to summon a second Keyblade during battle. The only ones capable of using this ability are Roxas, who can summon Fiancee and Distant Memories simultaneously, and Sora through Brave Form, Master Form, and Final Form.

History

Roxas can use two Keyblades because he possesses Sora's and Ventus's, because Ventus's heart resides on Sora. Originally, he could only wield Sora's Keyblade, as Xion's creation had disabled Roxas's ability to wield Ventus's. However, when Xion is defeated, the power returns to Roxas and from that moment he is able to summon two Keyblades. When Sora and Roxas first meet in the Capsule Room, Sora is already able to wield two Keyblades through certain Fusion Forms.

Roxas is able to use Double Sword just before fighting Axel at the Old Mansion. Once the battle is over, the ability cannot be used again.
Brave Form has Double Sword by default.
The Master Form has Double Sword by default.
Final Form has Double Sword by default.

Other appearances

Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days

Although Double Sword is not an ability in this game, Roxas can use two Keyblades in Story Mode on Day 358 and in Mission Mode by equipping Part Zero with three Skill Units.
